Warehouse Specialist:

DUTIES

• Accurately process and post PO receipts and transfer receipts from various warehouses.  

• Unload trucks for purchase order, transfer order receipts, and other arriving deliveries

• Distribute non-inventory goods to various departments

• Validate and count all PO and transfer quantities are correct comparing against the receiving document. Documents and notifies Supervisor of discrepancies.

• Provide packing slips and posted PO receipts to AP for payment

• Count, package, and palletize all sales order and transfer shipments

• Accurately process and post all shipments of customer sales orders, including special shipping instructions.

• Record all serial numbers for sales order shipments as required

• Post and process all transfer shipments to other warehouses

• Load trucks for sales order and transfer order shipments

• Coordinate dispatching calls, including prioritization by pickup and ship time.

• Maintain shipping materials and process purchase requisitions for replenishment.

• Maintain records related to shipping and receiving activities.

• Assist with quarterly cycle counts

• Occasionally deliver to local FedEx/UPS hub using company vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse inventory control, including receiving an issuing materials

• 2 years inventory experience; and/or equivalent amount of education & experience

• Computer literate

• Must be detail oriented and able to work in fast paced environment.

• Clean driving record 

• Forklift license preferred

• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work safely in an office/warehouse environment

• Ability to frequently walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel

• Ability to stand, sit, climb, stop, and kneel when necessary

What does the schedule look like?  Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00 pm

Pay rate is $22-$23.00

Does this person need to be forklift certified?  Forklift experience is preferred.  We have the ability to certify in-house.

What are the top three skills you would like them to have?  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use of pallet jack, understanding of Bill of Lading/Delivery Receipt, incoming material receiving (matching physical inventory to packing slip to PO)
