Job Description

We are seeking a Production Machine Operator to support daily fabrication and assembly work. This role operates non-CNC machines, follows work orders, and ensures parts meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate fabrication equipment including lathes, mills, saws, and tape cutters

  • Set up workpieces using clamps, wrenches, and fixtures

  • Manufacture parts based on work orders and blueprints

  • Perform assembly tasks using hand tools and drills

  • Complete documentation for each job

  • Inspect parts during production

  • Package finished parts and maintain accurate counts

  • Cross train on additional machines and processes

  • Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication

  • Keep work area organized and follow safety rules

  • Support team members and assist with training

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with low error rates

  • Strong communication with supervisors on priorities

  • Adaptability to changing production needs

  • Good math skills

  • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions

  • Experience with measuring tools

  • Problem solving skills

  • Willing to work overtime when needed

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Vocational training or hands-on experience preferred

  • Manufacturing experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, walking, and frequent use of hands

  • Lifting up to 40 lbs

  • Ability to adjust visual focus

  • Occasional reaching and sitting

Work Environment

  • Shop environment, not climate controlled

  • Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and outdoor temperatures

  • PPE may be required

  • Possible contact with chemicals

 

  • $20.60 per hr

  • Shift Schedule: 1:30PM – 10:00PM – 2nd Shift
