Assembly Technician Job Description

Schedule & Pay

  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Day Shift)

  • Pay Range: $20 – $22 per hour

  • Overtime: As needed

Responsibilities

  • Assemble skid units and industrial equipment

  • Interpret assembly drawings and measurements accurately

  • Operate weld machines, cutting tools, and other industrial tools

  • Assist in other production areas (Warehouse Inventory, Shipping & Receiving, Packing)

  • Maintain safety awareness at all times

  • Undertake additional training as required for new tools/techniques

  • Demonstrate professionalism, consistency, and effective communication skills

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication

  • Experience working with rotating equipment

  • Ability to properly operate industrial machinery

  • Strong understanding of measurements and assembly drawings

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Additional Information

  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; pass physical and lift assessment

  • Working Conditions: Shop environment

  • Training/Certifications: Not required

  • Travel: Not required
