Service Technician

Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Service Technician in Irvine, CA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot equipment issues in collaboration with tech support and customer care teams.
- Maintain and repair specialized equipment.
- Calibrate and test equipment according to procedures.
- Document errors and issues in an ERP system.
- Communicate equipment problems to the engineering department for resolution.
- Utilize written communication skills across various departments and within ERP systems.
- Interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Perform tasks related to the quality and integrity of products and testing methods.
- Conduct basic circuit analysis.
- Operate tools such as power meters, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes.
- Solder components such as resistors and capacitors on PCBs.
- Complete service reports for tested and/or repaired equipment.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
- Be available for overtime work.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Electronics/Engineering is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
- Basic understanding of circuit analysis and proficiency with electrical equipment such as power supplies, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to use various hand tools.
- Strong soldering skills for working with components on PCBs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Must be a strong team player and able to work well with others.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Pay: $24-27/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8 hour shift
