Senior Accountant – High Urgency Summary

The company urgently needs a hands-on Senior Accountant to take ownership of U.S. financial reporting and ensure absolute accuracy across month end, year end, and multi location accounting operations. This role is critical to maintaining financial integrity, supporting audits, and keeping the business compliant and running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive monthly financial reporting, financial statements, and summaries.

• Execute month-end close, including GL entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Manage AP/AR, payroll, 1099s, and BOM-related accounting.

• Support inventory accounting, year-end counts, and GL adjustments.

• Handle banking activities: wires, ACH support, and cash movement accuracy.

• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for the Controller.

• Review GLs for accuracy and compliance.

• Prepare sales tax, assist with business tax filings, and conduct tax research.

• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and service-date accuracy.

• Prepare journal entries for multiple locations and support all assigned site duties.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of solid accounting experience with a BA in Accounting or related field.

• Strong command of GAAP, financial analysis, and multi-department collaboration.

• High proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and pivot tables.

• Ability to operate with speed, accuracy, and independence in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.

Compensation: $89K - $92K
