Job Description

Position Summary
Seeking a Quality Inspector with sheet metal manufacturing experience for a temp-to-hire role. Responsible for in-process and final inspections using precision tools to ensure parts meet drawings, specs, and quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect sheet metal parts (in-process & final)

  • Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges

  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

  • Verify dimensions per customer requirements

  • Document inspection results accurately

  • Support ISO quality system requirements

  • Complete basic NCR documentation

  • Communicate quality issues to production teams

  • Keep inspection area clean and organized

 

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of sheet metal inspection experience

  • Strong measurement tool proficiency

  • Blueprint and dimensional drawing knowledge

  • Experience documenting inspections (paper or digital)

  • Familiarity with ISO processes

  • Excellent accuracy, detail-orientation, and reliability

 

Work Environment

  • Sheet metal fabrication (not aerospace/plastics)

  • Standing and inspecting throughout shift

  • Temperature-controlled production floor

 

Hiring Details

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday

  • 7:00AM- 3:30PM

  • Start time varies by department
