Job Description

Immediate Opportunity for Quality Control Inspector with a local manufacturer

Day Shift, M-F

$22.80 To $24.65 Hourly

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Detailed Inspections: Perform thorough inspections using precision tools such as calipers, measuring tape, pin gauges, angle protractors, and squares to ensure materials meet established standards and blueprints.

  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints to verify that design elements, dimensions, and angles align with specified requirements, ensuring overall precision and quality.

  • Execute Mechanical Inspections: Utilize mechanical inspection techniques to assess the functionality and structural integrity of components, identifying and addressing any deviations from specifications to maintain quality standards.

  • Ensure Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Verify that all materials strictly adhere to brand guidelines, including color schemes and overall design, to protect the company’s brand consistency.

  • Work with Minimal Supervision: Demonstrate a high level of initiative, working effectively with minimal supervision to conduct inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures promptly. Collaborate with the team to communicate findings and ensure continuous improvement in the quality control process.

 

Position Experience and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Attendance: Demonstrate a strong commitment to reliability and punctuality for work responsibilities and deadlines.

  • Adaptability: Accommodate business needs and achieve organizational goals.

  • Inspection Experience: 1+ years of experience utilizing a variety of inspection measurement tools to verify components against blueprint requirements.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in the inspection process of components and materials to meet or exceed quality standards.

  • Multitasking and Time Management: Effective multitasking and time management skills, allowing for the efficient completion of paperwork tasks within deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting, with basic computer skills; familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
