KPG has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in the defense industry and is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the team. They specialize in developing customized rugged solutions.

Pay: $25- $29 per hour

Shift: 6:30 am- 3:15 pm Mon- Fri

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on materials, components, and finished products
• Conduct First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and document results
• Verify compliance with blueprints, schematics, travelers, and technical documentation
• Perform functional acceptance testing on computer systems, test equipment, and cable assemblies
• Utilize calibrated gauges, calipers, multi-meters, and other inspection tools
• Ensure adherence to customer and regulatory quality standards
• Work closely with the production team to maintain product quality and safety
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of industry-related experience in manufacturing, QA, or assembly/testing
• Knowledge of computer, cable assembly, crimping, soldering, and electrical systems
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, JSTD-001 (preferred)
• Experience with AS9100 Rev. D and AS9102 FAIR standard
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods when necessary

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
