Quality Control Inspector

Job Description
KPG has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in the defense industry and is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the team. They specialize in developing customized rugged solutions.
Pay: $25- $29 per hour
Shift: 6:30 am- 3:15 pm Mon- Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on materials, components, and finished products
- Conduct First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and document results
- Verify compliance with blueprints, schematics, travelers, and technical documentation
- Perform functional acceptance testing on computer systems, test equipment, and cable assemblies
- Utilize calibrated gauges, calipers, multi-meters, and other inspection tools
- Ensure adherence to customer and regulatory quality standards
- Work closely with the production team to maintain product quality and safety
- Maintain accurate inspection records and reports
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of industry-related experience in manufacturing, QA, or assembly/testing
- Knowledge of computer, cable assembly, crimping, soldering, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, JSTD-001 (preferred)
- Experience with AS9100 Rev. D and AS9102 FAIR standard
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods when necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
