Overview
Â
Seeking a QC Inspector to support precision machining operations, maintaining quality on incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished components. Role interfaces with production, engineering, and suppliers while ensuring documentation accuracy and adherence to specs.

Key Responsibilities
Â
Inspect raw materials, purchased parts & outside-processing (heat treat, chrome/anodizing, honing, gun drill, cad plating, etc.)
Inspect precision machined parts per blueprints & ECRs
Perform First Article Inspections & complete FAI reports
Approve in-process & final products for conformity
Document inspection results, rework, scrap & database entries
Maintain calibration records & measurement equipment
Operate CMM / Contact CMM for precision measurement
Communicate quality issues cross-functionally (production, engineering, suppliers)

Required Experience
Â
3+ years inspecting precision machined components
Blueprint reading & interpretation of engineering docs
Proficiency with inspection tools:
Calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, gauge blocks
Optical comparator & height gauges
CMM experience preferred
Â
MS Office (Excel/reporting)
Exposure to CAD, metrology & quality engineering concepts
Â
Training / Education
3+ years QA/QC inspection experience required
QA/manufacturing compliance training preferred
Internal standards training provided

Schedule & Compensation
Full-Time · 40hrs/week · Onsite
$25–$28/hr DOE
