Job Description
The Metal Brake Operator sets up and operates press brake equipment to bend and form metal
components used in back-of-house restaurants and hotel equipment. This role requires accuracy,
attention to detail, and the ability to read fabrication drawings to produce high-quality parts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and bend schedules

Form stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel components
-
Fabricate parts for restaurant and hotel equipment such as counters, cabinets, hoods, shelving, and enclosures

Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality

Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean

Follow all shop safety and quality procedures
Qualification
-
2+ years of press brake experience preferred

Experience working with stainless steel
-
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools

Basic math skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
-
Ability to stand for long periods and lift to 50 lbs.

Frequent handling of sheet metal

Fabrication shop environment with required PPE
