Job Summary

• Organize industrial plumbing assembly work.

• Prioritize work, assign tasks to team members, check accuracy and quality of work, work with the team.

• Perform industrial plumbing assembly work on larger scale machines.

• Fit, align, adjust, and connect components and assemblies within close tolerances.

• Assemble plumbing part of the machine based on information translated from job orders, work instructions, procedures and drawings.

• Take complete ownership of the project at hand.

• Able to read Plumbing and Instruments Diagram.

• Able to read engineering drawings.

• Ability to rout plumbing based on P&ID.

• Ability to build quality, esthetically appealing plumbing, with no licks.

• Able to perform PVC, Polypore, and steel plumbing. Glued and threaded connections.

• Understanding the entire scope of the job at hand and being able to work/communicate with other techs working on the same job and do efficient work.

• Use proper tools and equipment for different types of plumbing.

• Keep work areas clean in appearance.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for planning and executing the entire plumbing assembly of a machine.

• Communicating with other trade leads (electrical, mechanical) working on the same machine.

• Successfully read and understand various schematic layouts.

• Must be able to use a large variety of small hand tools such as wrenches, torque wrenches, saws, and must be able to use mechanical measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, measuring tape.

• Is willing to engage in ongoing education and is interested in continuous improvement.
