Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in Gardena, CA.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications from major aerospace companies such as Lockheed and Boeing.

  • Review contracts, parts lists, Bills of Materials (BOM), and customer requirements to plan manufacturing jobs.

  • Create detailed documentation including process flows, work instructions, and tooling specifications.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing jobs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.

  • Utilize JobBOSS software for planning and scheduling

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing, particularly with Lockheed drawings/specs.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with planning software (ERP)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

 

Details:

  • Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

  • Salary Range: $70,000 to $85,000 (DOE)
