Job Description

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler II to join the operations team. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in electronic and mechanical assembly, including soldering, system integration, and testing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and producing high-quality assemblies in accordance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precision soldering of electronic components (SMT, through-hole, and wiring/harnessing)

  • Assemble electro-mechanical products based on technical drawings and specifications

  • Support prototype builds and new product introductions (NPI)

  • Assist in developing and refining assembly procedures and work instructions

  • Conduct production assembly, functional testing, and inspections

  • Perform board-level programming and testing

  • Manage materials and inventory in accordance with established procedures

  • Kit components for production orders

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing and Quality teams to ensure timely and accurate production

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to verify quality and specifications

  • Provide guidance and training on soldering best practices as needed

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 3–5 years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong soldering skills (SMT, through-hole, and cable/harness assembly)

  • Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 preferred)

  • Experience with PCB assembly, testing, and ESD protocols is a plus

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions

  • Understanding of inventory control processes in a production setting

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

 

Pay range: $24–$30/hour
