Senior Accountant (3 openings)

Environmental Services Industry – Stanton, CA

Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Target hourly equivalent: $36–$40/hour (approximately 5 hours of overtime per week; final salary range upon hire and completion)

A leading environmental and waste management services organization is seeking experienced Senior Accountants to support financial reporting, high-volume reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role works closely with the Corporate Controller in a large, multi-entity environment and offers long-term stability.

Responsibilities-

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Support the Corporate Controller with financial reporting

Perform balance sheet, expense, intercompany, and bank reconciliations

Prepare and review journal entries during month-end close

Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

Assist with audit preparation and supporting schedules

Participate in process improvements and special projects

Qualifications-

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Strong general ledger and reconciliation background

Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables)

MS Dynamics or similar ERP experience

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
