Job Opportunity: HR Generalist – Food Manufacturing Plant

Location: Riverside, CA

Compensation: $28 - $33

About the Role:

Our customer seeks a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join their team at a food manufacturing facility in California. This role is critical in supporting the workforce, ensuring compliance with California labor laws and food industry standards, and partnering with plant leadership to foster a safe, productive, and engaged workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day HR operations to support employees and leadership.

- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staffing to meet plant needs.

- Administer payroll and benefits programs with accuracy and efficiency.

- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.

- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance workforce skills.

- Maintain HRIS systems and personnel files.

- Prepare reports on staffing, turnover, and compliance metrics.

- Assist with audits and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist and a strong grasp across all the branches of Human Resources

- Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR best practices.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Experience in manufacturing or food industry HR preferred.

- Bilingual in Spanish required
