Immediate Opening: Quality Control Supervisor – Food Manufacturing – Direct Hire !!

We are urgently seeking a proactive and experienced QC Supervisor to lead our food safety and quality operations. This role is critical to maintaining compliance and ensuring product integrity across multiple production lines. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and train QC Lab and Line Technicians across several production lines.

• Execute and verify food safety systems, sanitation protocols, hazard analysis, and prerequisite programs.

• Act fast on quality issues—initiate corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with operations.

• Perform inspections and analysis on raw materials, in-process items, equipment, and finished goods.

• Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment; ensure calibration and operational accuracy.

• Compile and analyze lab data; prepare reports and documentation for audits and inspections.

• Drive improvements in analytical methods and quality procedures.

• Communicate results and decisions to the QC Manager promptly to support product disposition.

• Support pre-op inspections and cover QC Receiving and Technician roles as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong command of food safety programs: HACCP, FSP, GMP, SOPs, allergens, pre-op protocols

• Skilled in lab protocols, Microsoft Office, and shift communications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written)

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Technology, or related field preferred

• Minimum 3 years in a QC/QA supervisory role in food manufacturing

• Experience with BRC or GFSI audits required

• Hands-on experience with shelf-stable or fresh products like salsas, sauces, soups, or tomato-based formulations (e.g., pasta sauce, chili sauce)
