A company in the natural food ingredients and global distribution space is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a fast-paced, international operation. We are looking for a detail-driven professional who takes ownership, values accuracy, and thrives in a high-responsibility environment.

Role Overview

This position owns day-to-day AP and AR functions while supporting strong financial controls, clean reporting, and consistent cash flow. The role partners closely with operations and leadership and plays a key role in supporting scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment schedules

• Maintain payment accuracy and cash flow visibility

• Resolve vendor discrepancies and manage expense reporting

• Support strong vendor relationships

Accounts Receivable

• Issue invoices and track domestic and international payments

• Reconcile payments, manage credits, and oversee collections

• Conduct credit checks and manage credit limits

• Maintain accurate, current AR records

Operations & Controls

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial/administrative reports

• Support internal policies, procedures, and controls

• Assist with finance-related administrative needs

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

• 5+ years of hands-on QuickBooks experience (Bill.com a strong plus)

• Advanced Excel skills (beyond basic formulas)

• Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong math and financial intuition

• Clear, professional written and verbal communication

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, accountability-driven environment

• Experience in distribution, import/export, or global trade preferred

• Self-directed; able to work without close supervision
