Account Manager
Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a background in electronic components and semiconductors, including experience selling hard-to-find, obsolete, or allocation-constrained parts.
This role focuses on managing customer relationships and driving revenue through component-level sales. The Account Manager will work closely with internal teams to quote and sell parts that support customer production needs, including time-sensitive and shortage-driven requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management

Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts

Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, supply chain, and engineering teams

Maintain strong, long-term customer relationships

Identify opportunities to expand business within current accounts

New Business Development

Prospect and onboard new customers in electronics, semiconductor, aerospace, and industrial markets

Generate new revenue through outbound sales and inbound leads
-
Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline
-
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets
Â
Quoting & Sales Execution
-
Respond to RFQs and prepare pricing for electronic components and semiconductors
-
Support BOM-based quoting, including hard-to-find, obsolete, and allocation-impacted parts
-
Track quotes, orders, and customer activity within CRM
-
Coordinate internally to support customer timelines and order execution

Customer Support & Market Awareness

Communicate availability, pricing, and lead-time expectations
-
Understand market dynamics affecting component availability

Provide a high level of responsiveness in time-critical sales situations

Required Experience & Qualifications
Required
-
5+ years of direct experience selling electronic components or semiconductors
-
Experience supporting hard-to-find, obsolete, or constrained components
-
Hands-on experience with RFQs, pricing, and BOM-driven sales

Strong customer relationship management skills

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment

CRM experience

Background in electronic component distribution, brokerage, or shortage sourcing environments

Experience supporting aerospace, defense, medical, or industrial electronics customers

Compensation
-
Base salary: $3,000–$5,000 per month (depending on experience)

Commission and performance incentives
-
Estimated first-year OTE: ~$110,000

Commission flexibility for highly qualified candidates
