Job Description
Our client in Garden Grove is the global leader in specialty metals supply for the aerospace, industrial, medical and oil and gas markets. Holding the world’s most complete inventory of specialty metals across a global service center network. Our client is currently looking for several forklift operators for their 2nd shift for a temp-to-hire position. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:00am-6:30pm temporary hours but will changed to 12pmm-8:30pm in the new year. All candidates must be able to work overtime, including some weekends.
Responsibilities include:

Pulling metal materials (can be as long as 15 feet)

Unloading, receipt, and inspection of all incoming material

Check and validate orders

Ability to read instructor orders and process paperwork

Certified on the sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack
-
2nd shift 10am-6:30pm but will change to 12pm-8:30pm next year

$17.00 pay rate DOE
Qualifications:
-
Must have a current forklift license
-
Must have ability to input data into MRP system
-
Understand use of calipers and micrometers
-
2+ years of warehouse/forklift experience
-
Able to lift up to 50lbs
-
Reliable and good attendance history
-
Upon conditional offer, background check and pre-employment drug screen will be required
