We have an immediate need for a CNC Machinist. The successful candidate will have significant machining experience. Daily responsibilities would be setting up and operating a machine(s), as well as training and assisting operators on set ups, edit programs, complete inspection of parts for discrepancies and blemishes, to produce high quality and quantity parts in an efficient manner. All employees are expected to maintain a safe, clean work area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 6-10 years’ experience in CNC shop environment

• Must have experience in a leadership capacity

• Programming with Swiss Machines is helpful but not required

• Setup and operation of CNC Lathes, Mills, 5 Axis Mills, Swiss Mill Turn, and Gantry machines

• Familiar with Fanuc & Haas Controls

• Experience in working in an AS9100D environment

• Read and translate drawings/CAD models

• Provide feedback to improve work instructions

• Working knowledge of GD&T Methodology and experience tight tolerance parts

• Develop fixtures and setups to enable more efficient production

• Help to schedule work through the CNC, accounting for lead times, yield, and required delivery

• The ability to learn quickly and able to work productively without direct supervision

• Provide training and development to future employees in the department

• Ability to build strong working relationships

• Pay rate is from $35.00-$40.00
