Corona, CA | Up to $130,000 DOE | Full-Time, On-Site

A growing commercial concrete and masonry contractor is seeking an experienced Head of Estimating to lead its estimating function and oversee a team of six Junior Estimators.

About the Role
This leadership position will own bid strategy, estimating workflow, takeoffs, plan review, and team development. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in concrete/masonry projects and the ability to drive accuracy, efficiency, and bid competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead estimating processes for concrete and masonry projects
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 6 Jr Estimators
• Perform detailed material takeoffs and cost analysis
• Review plans/specs, identify scope, and develop bid proposals
• Coordinate with project managers, operations, and leadership
• Ensure estimate accuracy, competitiveness, and timely submission
• Oversee estimating tools, templates, workflows, and standards

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Concrete/Masonry estimating experience
• Proficiency reading plans/specifications
• Strong experience in Bluebeam and digital takeoff software
• Prior estimating leadership or supervisory experience
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
• Strong communication, analytical, and coaching skills
