Job Description
We are currently looking for an entry level Electrical Technician for our client in Huntington Beach. The client is looking for someone with high energy, positive attitude, and learning to learn and grow with the company.
Assist in electrical wiring, panel building, and electronic component inventory. Ability to assist with in house start-up and trouble shooting, and able to travel and complete field installation. Support the organizations goals, objectives and strategies through excellent customer service and a constant desire to learn new processes and techniques.
Main Activities:
The main activities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Electrical wiring per schematics and wire diagrams.
Assist with Start-up and troubleshooting of equipment.
Field installation of equipment, travel in USA and overseas required.
Update and maintain as built documentation.
Manage Electronic component inventory
Staging of Electrical components for each job.
Maintain schematics, wire lists, parts list.
Ability to work with existing systems (E2, Excel, Word).
Source parts or replacement parts as necessary.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience:
Two to three years of related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in electrical work.
Background in electrical or electronics either through hands on experience or through education and training,
o Must be willing to take additional electrical classes
Mechanical, hydraulic experience a plus,
Individual must possess exceptional communication skills, organization skills, and presentation skills,
Must have strong computer skills,
Must be self-motivated, and a team player,
