Data Entry Specialist – Liability Claims (Remote)

A public-sector organization is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support its Liability Claims department. This position plays a key role in processing new incoming liability claims and ensuring accurate, timely entry into the internal claims system. About the Role
In this position, you will handle the initial intake of new liability claims, enter claim information into the system, and assist with light administrative tasks such as mailing letters and uploading documents. This is a steady, process-driven role ideal for someone who can manage a consistent daily workload with accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities

Receive new liability claims via email and accurately enter them into the claims management system.

Process claims daily with each claim taking about 15 minutes to complete.

Prepare and mail required letters to courts, attorneys, and involved parties.

Upload attorney invoices and supporting documents into the internal system (light financial tasks).

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Provide general administrative support to the Claims team as needed.
Qualifications

Experience in data entry, administrative support, insurance, claims, or legal documentation preferred.

Strong attention to detail; able to maintain accuracy with repetitive, process-driven tasks.

Ability to prioritize daily workload and stay organized.

Professional communication skills.

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Basic proficiency with email, document handling, and computer applications.

Familiarity with liability, insurance, or claims terminology is a plus.
