• 1st Shift — 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift — 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Compensation: $32.50/hr+ (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Department: CNC Machine Shop
Reports To: CNC Shop Manager

Position Summary
Â
A leading aerospace manufacturing organization is hiring CNC Set-Up Machinists to support production operations. This role partners with CNC Programming, Machining, Planning, and Quality to ensure machines are set up accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with production schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Â
• Set up CNC machines accurately to meet production schedules
• Conduct daily machine observations and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Support machinists in achieving throughput targets
• Work cross-functionally to support monthly on-time delivery goals
• Validate part conformity using handheld inspection tools and SPC
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements

Knowledge & Skills
Â
• CNC programming background (preferred)
• Experience machining and setting up aluminum, steel, castings, and forgings
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints & GD&T
• Ability to select tooling and work holding for proper set-up
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Experience operating various HAAS and Fadal 3- & 4-axis machines (preferred)

Minimum Requirements
Â
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry
• Experience working in an AS9100 environment

Preferred Certifications
Â
• GibbsCAM
• Mastercam
• GD&T Dimensional Certification
Â

• Overtime may be required based on production needs
