Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD 2D drafting and a keen eye for detail. They will play a crucial role in interpreting blueprints, generating precise technical drawings, and assisting in CNC programming for production runs. While prior experience in millwork is preferred, it is not required—we provide comprehensive training for CNC programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.

• Develop 2D technical drawings based on project images and descriptions using AutoCAD (.dxf, .dwg).

• Collaborate with Project Managers to verify design specifications and relay any concerns to customers.

• Ensure all drawings meet deadlines and align with quality expectations.

• Assist in CNC programming for production runs (training provided—no prior experience necessary).

• Assess materials and drawings to determine optimal cutting tools, speeds, and strategies for production.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for technical drawings (.dxf, .dwg files).

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in interpreting designs and specifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Millwork experience preferred, but not required.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Full-time

• Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Schedule: 8-hour shift

• Work Location: In-person (Must be able to commute or relocate)
