Job Summary

Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking a Claims Clerical / Customer Service Representative for an auto insurance company in Monrovia, CA. This role supports the California Claims Department by assisting the Claims Manager and claims team with daily operations, customer inquiries, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, bilingual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Claims Manager and claims staff with special projects and daily tasks

• Help distribute work within the CSR unit as needed

• Answer incoming calls, respond to general inquiries, and direct callers to the appropriate department

• Process new claims received from the Call Center

• Request initial claims letters, assign vehicle appraisals, and coordinate insured vehicle pick-ups

• Review the Insurance Services Office (ISO) database for unrecovered thefts

• Process medical billing through the medical bill review application

• Print and prepare records for subpoena requests

• Support other departments and claims employees as needed

• Maintain awareness of potential insurance fraud

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Spanish-speaking required

• Prior insurance or claims experience preferred
