Job Description

Position: Part-time Administrative Assistant
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Duration: January-March, with potential to hire as an Office Manager if qualified
Pay Rate: $25-30/hr for the Office Manager role

The Role

The Office Manager/Administrative Assistant will oversee office-related activities, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily office operations, including maintaining supplies, equipment, and facility needs.

  • Perform light bookkeeping and recordkeeping tasks, including billing.

  • Manage office budgets, and plan and organize company meetings, events, and team activities.

  • Provide administrative support to senior management, including managing calendars and correspondence.

  • Support HR-related activities such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.

  • Manage retail inventory, organize, and ship online orders in conjunction with the production team.

  • Ensure a premium guest experience in the retail and tasting room according to Joimo’s quality standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of office-related spaces, retail spaces, and the tasting room, including plant care.

  • Participate in company events as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, or similar role.

  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple complex tasks effectively.

  • Ability to handle confidential matters with tact and maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong oral communication skills to convey information clearly and accurately.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional relationships.

  • Ability to screen, prioritize, and direct phone calls and messages.

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Asana.

  • Food handlers and LEAD certification (can be completed during onboarding).

  • Willingness to work occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, meet deadlines, and be punctual.
