Job Description
Position:Â Part-time Administrative Assistant
Days:Â Tuesdays and Thursdays
Hours:Â 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Duration:Â January-March, with potential to hire as an Office Manager if qualified
Pay Rate:Â $25-30/hr for the Office Manager role
The Role
The Office Manager/Administrative Assistant will oversee office-related activities, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily office operations, including maintaining supplies, equipment, and facility needs.

Perform light bookkeeping and recordkeeping tasks, including billing.

Manage office budgets, and plan and organize company meetings, events, and team activities.

Provide administrative support to senior management, including managing calendars and correspondence.

Support HR-related activities such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.

Manage retail inventory, organize, and ship online orders in conjunction with the production team.

Ensure a premium guest experience in the retail and tasting room according to Joimo’s quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of office-related spaces, retail spaces, and the tasting room, including plant care.

Participate in company events as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
-
3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, or similar role.

Ability to prioritize and perform multiple complex tasks effectively.

Ability to handle confidential matters with tact and maintain confidentiality.
-
Strong oral communication skills to convey information clearly and accurately.
-
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
-
Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional relationships.

Ability to screen, prioritize, and direct phone calls and messages.
-
Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Asana.
-
Food handlers and LEAD certification (can be completed during onboarding).

Willingness to work occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Ability to troubleshoot, meet deadlines, and be punctual.
