Customer Service Representative (Manufacturing / Sales Support)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM start time
Hours: Approximately 9 hours per day; overtime required as needed
Pay Rate: $29.00 – $39.00 per hour (DOE)
Location: Commerce, CA (onsite)

About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our customers and act as the primary point of contact for all customer-related communications. This role partners closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Accounting, and Sales to ensure accurate order processing, timely delivery, and outstanding customer satisfaction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Order Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and live chat

Prepare customer quotations and proposals using established pricing guidelines
-
Process and manage sales orders using ERP software, ensuring accurate communication of customer requirements to internal teams
-
Track orders and shipments, provide status updates, and expedite orders as needed
-
Review customer terms, conditions, and quality clauses to ensure compliance
-
Issue return authorizations, credits, and replacements when applicable

Sales & Distributor Support

Follow up on major quotations and support distributor relationships

Register and navigate customer portals for RFQs, orders, changes, and documentation

Maintain accurate sales records and prepare required reports
Customer Experience & Quality

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally with a focus on resolution

Escalate issues when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction
-
Help maintain strong customer ratings for on-time delivery and quality performance
Administrative & Accounting Support

Assist Accounting with collection of past-due invoices

Prepare Pro Forma invoices as needed

Maintain organized records and documentation
Continuous Improvement

Proactively identify process improvement opportunities

Uphold high ethical standards and professional integrity

Qualifications
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred
-
Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales administration, customer service, or sales support
-
Manufacturing or aerospace industry experience preferred
-
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Skills & Technical Requirements

Strong organizational and time-management skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

ERP order entry experience required (AS400 / MAPICS preferred)
