Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst with at least 5 years of professional experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry, to support data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will analyze financial performance, develop cost models, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Develop and maintain annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, highlighting variances, trends, and risks.

• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic initiatives.

Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Support

• Analyze production costs, inventory valuation, material variances, and overhead allocation.

• Partner with operations to evaluate manufacturing metrics such as yield, efficiency, and throughput.

• Support standard cost updates, bill of materials (BOM) accuracy, and cost roll processes.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Prepare dashboards and KPIs related to financial and operational performance.

• Analyze profitability by product line, customer, and region.

• Provide insights to improve margin performance and cost optimization.

Business Partnering & Decision Support

• Work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, procurement, and sales teams.

• Support capital expenditure (CapEx) analysis, ROI calculations, and project financial evaluations.

• Assist in pricing decisions and cost-benefit assessments.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist in audit activities.

• Support monthly and year-end closing activities in collaboration with accounting.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or related certification a plus).

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience,  within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Excel (advanced modeling skills), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Pay $100K-$130K
