Busy restoration company in Laguna Hills is currently hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s financial department.

Full time opportunity, $90k-$100k/annually

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure invoices are generated promptly and accurately within 2 days of reaching the Invoice Pending status.

• Implement efficient systems to streamline the invoicing process.

• A/R and A/P Management

• Oversee the collection of Accounts Receivable within specific time frames

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow.

• Manage Accounts Payable to maximize cash flow while nurturing positive relationships with vendors.

• Implement and maintain effective processes for invoice approvals and payments.

• Audit and close jobs marked as Paid in Full within 10 days in the Workforce Connect system.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness in the job closure process.

• Perform daily reconciliation of timesheets to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.

• Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, including deductions and adjustments.

• Calculate and manage employee bonuses according to established criteria.

• Generate and analyze weekly reports on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Flow.

• Implement and oversee systems for expense management, ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Daily Bank Reconciliation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

• High "figure it out" factor, with the ability to solve complex financial issues independently.

• Self-starter who is highly motivated to achieve departmental goals.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members.

• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure financial accuracy.

• Willingness to work collaboratively in a small business environment.

• Ability to take full responsibility for the department's outcomes and results.
