Job Description
We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily sales and cash projection reports.
- Manage purchase orders, including analysis and resolution.
- Process month-end journal entries and reconcile accounts monthly.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations and prepare the monthly financial package with variance analysis.
- Review and prepare sales tax returns.
- Ensure timely renewal of business and operating licenses.
- Process customer refunds using the ERP system.
- Prepare supporting schedules for year-end audits.
- Support the manager with special projects, research, and analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of corporate and general ledger accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience and proficiency with ERP systems.
