We are seeking a full time and dedicated Accounting Clerk with and esteemed leading condiments and food supplier company. Duties include daily invoicing and accounting data entries and all others related to accounts receivable/payable. Report aging status weekly and contact customers for collections. Coordinate with Sales department for payment deductions to be allocated into the appropriate sales channels and accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts receivable and collections

• Receive payments, enter accounting system, and make deposits

• Daily invoicing and accounting data entries

• Prepare transfer slips for bills to be paid.

• Other duties related to accounts receivable/payable as directed by Office Manager.

• Back-up Customer Service Coordinator as secondary phone answerer.

Education/Certification:

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent competency.

• Associate degree in accounting or Bookkeeping preferred.

Required Knowledge:

• Strong business communications skills (Verbal, written, call center, etc.).

• Highly organized, professional business habits.

• Strong Windows-based computer skills and experience with QuickBooks software.

• Experience with effective paper and electronic filing systems and data storage and retrieval.

• Ability to multi-task during busier times to prioritize and execute to completion all issues in a timely matter.

• Ability to find creative ways to improve company operations at a minimal cost. Experience Required:

• Three years of previous experience in a similar position.
