Aerospace Production Planner
Job Description
We are seeking a Production Planner for an Aerospace manufacturer in Commerce, CA. This is a full-time, onsite, temporary-to-hire job opportunity.
The qualified individual will have 5+ years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment and ERP/MRP optimization. You will be required to prepare schedules for products and parts as well as source suppliers for new and existing products.

Duties:

Prepare production plans and schedule parts and units to meet an established delivery dates utilizing manufacturing information systems.

Schedule parts or components for production for assigned product lines or designated orders.

Update schedules periodically and reschedule where necessary.

Keep current on manufacturing cycles and anticipated customer requirements, recommend combining jobs and increasing quantities that are indicated to affect economics.

Act to ensure item availability, work with Production Control to drive requirements for purchased parts and the release purchase orders per MRP system.
