Job Description
Assembly Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly-motivated Electronic& Mechanical Assembler professional to join our team and grow with us. Applicants must be detail oriented, calm under pressure, and well organized. Applicants must have the ability and strong desire to learn.
The Assembler will timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications involving complex and repetitive wiring and mechanics unites.

The Assembler will timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications involving complex and repetitive wiring and mechanics unites.
Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assemble electrical or Mechanical systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, using soldering or other tools.
- Read and interpret instructions, drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders.
- Inspect wiring installations, assemblies.
- Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
- Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits.
- Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in chassis and cabinets.
- Maintaining neat and organized workspaces
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 1 year of electronic assembly experience (5+ preferred) using the following skills:
- Wire/Cable Harness Assembly
- Electronic Enclosure/Control Panel Assembly
- Knowledge of ISO9001 quality standards and ESD-safe procedures
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Results oriented
- Wire/Cable Harness Assembly
- Use of both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions
- Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds a few times per shift
- Walking, standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, twisting, bending, and reaching
- IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and/or J-STD-001 certifications
- Perform a variety of assembly operations and tasks on electronic or electromechanical components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
- Perform complex and difficult assembly tasks.
- Required to work from established prints and drawings.
Performs delicate placement and alignment, wire bonding and hand soldering of small components.
- Uses soldering irons, crimping tools, and any other special tooling as required to perform tasks.
- Performs any rework requiring similar operations.
- Ability to work with very small components on a repetitive basis.
