Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setup Machinist for an aerospace company in Commerce, CA.

This is a full-time direct hire position that offers full benefits, growth opportunities, work-life balance and job security.

Schedule:

 

  • 8–10-hour shift

  • Monday-Friday

 

Pay Range & Benefits:

  • $21.62 - $27.41 (salary increases every 6 months)

  • Benefits: 401k, Dental, Health, Vision, PTO, Holidays, Tuition reimbursement

 

Qualifications:

 

- Minimum 4 years of experience in CNC lathe machining

- Ability to interpret operating, maintenance, shipping, & procedure instructions/manuals

- Knowledge of basic functions of Fanuc and Haas controls

- Micrometers, calipers, bore/heigh gauges, etc.

- Basic mathematic skills

- Able to regularly lift 25 pounds.

- High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Position Duties:

 

- Set up and run one or more CNC lathes to machine castings, forgings, bar stock, composites, etc.

- Make any necessary adjustments to machines and their controls (offsets)

- Keeps daily production performance records and pertinent documentation required.

- Gather all the tools needed to setup and operator products determined by process sheet.
